Dear Parents,
Each fall, your child embarks on a significant journey as a college student. As a parent, you have spent the past years guiding and nourishing your child so that they may be able to face the many challenges and opportunities that await them. While leaving them on campus may have been a challenge for you, we hope to ease some of your concerns.
San Luis Obispo Hillel offers your child opportunities to explore and celebrate their Jewish identity; continuing their Jewish journey into adulthood. The passionate SLO Hillel staff place value in connections with each student and strives to offer a host of meaningful entry points into Jewish campus life. We are here to provide your student with a strong Jewish community away from home. We look to inspire and excite students and make life a little smoother while your student is at college. We encourage families to join us for meals and events, especially during move-in, Parents' Weekend, Open House, and Commencement.
